Marley Rabstenek has focused her entire career on Asian art. Beginning her career as the head of Asian art at Skinner in Boston, she then moved to New York and headed the Asian department at Christies East, eventually transferring to Christies Rockefeller center as a senior specialist in Chinese Works of Art. Marley then started her own company appraising and dealing in Asian art while consulting as head of department for Doyle New York auction house as well as others across the country. During this time Marley and business partners opened Centerpiece Art Advisory in Hong Kong, providing art and antique appraisals for the insurance industry in Hong Kong and mainland China.
